The Effortless Quiet - Marty Hicks

A collection of pieces born from periods of waiting, episodes of uncertainty, and moments of warmth.
This 6-track EP-length work brings together fragments of leftover sounds - old piano recordings, unused tape loops, timestretched strings - rediscovered during periods of isolation, and revisited from a place of stillness and quietude.

切ないピアノの旋律に、緩やかなテープループや温かみに包まれたシンセサイザーの音が重なるアンビエント作品。
忘れかけていた過去から響いてきた音の記憶、どことなく懐かしい情緒を浴びさせる、時空無きの音楽的水彩画。
